Personal Commitment

1. Being WITH Christ requires knowing Christ. (John 4:22)

5 Essential Truths about Jesus Christ:

  1. Jesus is fully God and fully man. (John 1:1, 14)
  2. Jesus died as our substitute. (2 Corinthians 5:21)
  3. Jesus rose bodily from the grave. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
  4. Jesus is seated at the right hand of God. (Hebrews 8:1)
  5. Jesus will return to earth in power and glory(John 14:3)

2. Each person must believe in Jesus Christ personally.

  • Repent of your sin. (Acts 3:19)
  • Trust in Jesus’ substitutionary death to pay the penalty for your sin. (1 Peter 2:24)
  • Confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. (Romans 10:9)

3. Biblical profession of faith is through baptism. (Acts 2:38)
